Subject	blitz din mounting without din pocket?

Message	Installed my boost controller this weekend (thanks to induetime) just need to hook up 12V power I will be tapping this from the radio harness. I ripped the stock stereo out and I'm wondering what's the best way to mount the sbc-ID3 and r-vit in the bottom DIN? I don't have the DIN pocket since I had the stock cd player in that spot. I am thinking about making (or buying at Home Depot) some "L" brackets that will bolt into the bottom holes of the radio bracket then somehow affixing a flat piece of metal (or black plastic) to those, drilling out holes for the cordage and double sided taping the blitz babies on there?
